Find your way,
leave your mark.

I build small New Zealand businesses a clean, fast website and sort the Google basics, so the people already looking for you can actually find you.

Who I'm here for

Owner-operated local businesses that win their work on reputation and referrals, then look invisible online. If your customers find you on a phone, we'll get on well.

  • 01

    Tradies

Someone gets your name from a mate, then Googles it that night. A website for a tradie has one job: show the work and back up what the mate said.

  • 02

    Cafés and hospitality

People pick where to eat on a phone, last minute, off Google Maps. If your menu is a PDF from 2019, they scroll past.

  • 03

    Health and beauty

People decide whether to trust you before they walk in. A calm, current site that lets them book without a phone call does most of that work.

  • 04

    Professional services

Your site has been on the list for three years. It should look as sharp as the advice you give.

Where the name comes from

Walk a track in New Zealand and you follow waymarks without thinking about it. The orange triangle on a beech tree. The cairn on a tops crossing. The marker that turns up when the trail goes faint and tells you one thing: you're still on track, keep going.

A waymark doesn't walk the track for you or carry your pack. It takes the second-guessing away so you can get on with it. Same job here: I point you to the kind of website that fits what you do, build it, make sure people can find you, then get out of your way.

Who you're dealing with

I'm Cody, and I do web design in Auckland for small New Zealand businesses. I came to this from photo and video rather than code. Years of cutting a frame back to what matters left me with the same instinct for a website: lose the clutter, keep what earns its place.

You deal with me. The person who quotes your job builds it and answers when you email. No account manager, no handover.

Web design in Auckland, three ways to start

Three tiers, one foundation. Every site is fast, yours to own, and set up with your Google Business Profile so nearby searches land on you. Whichever one you pick, you get the same web designer in Auckland from the first email to launch.

Early client pricing

Waymark Studio is new, so my first few projects are priced below where they'll sit once the portfolio is built. Same work and the same attention to detail you can see across this site, at introductory pricing while I've got the room to take it on.

  • TIER 01

    Foundation

You've got no site, or one a relative built years ago that you'd rather not send people to. This is the honest starting point.

A small, fast site you own, your services and contact details laid out plain, and your business showing up on Google Maps.

  • TIER 02

    Professional

You're established and the referrals keep coming, so the site has to hold its own when someone checks you out. Photos carry the weight here.

Everything in Foundation, plus real photos of your place shot and edited by me, and local SEO so you turn up for the searches that bring in work.

    Growth

You want more than the phone ringing. Online booking, a second location, or first place ahead of the franchise down the road.

Everything in Professional, plus what your business needs on top of it: booking, extra pages, ongoing work on where you rank.

I'm taking on my first client sites now, so yours could be one of the first to land here.
